The Federation of Medical Women of Canada is a national organization, with Branches located across Canada. FMWC is a nation member of Medical Women's International Association, with links around the world.

FMWC members are physicians and associated health care providers committed to the professional development of women physicians, as well as women's health issues in general. Many members are leaders in Canadian health care for women, as well as holding leadership positions in medicine at local, national and international levels.

FMWC mentors women medical students, with connections to all medical schools across Canada.

Issues concerning women physicians, women medical students and Women's Health in Canada are of interest to FMWC.
