The FMWC's AGM is a once a year opportunity for women physicians and associates to benefit from a weekend of stimulating educational discussions and networking.
This year’s theme is Pride and Prejudice: Setting the Agenda for Women’s Health which will take us to explore topics of importance in today’s health care environment as we celebrate the FMWC’s 92nd year of commitment to being the voice of women doctors in Canada, across all specialties and provinces.

GETTING TO HAMILTON
By Air
WestJet flies directly into Hamilton from select Canadian cities.
To and From Toronto Pearson Airport – The best way to travel to and from Hamilton from Pearson is by taking Airways Transit shuttle service. FMWC members receive a discount by booking in advance ONLINE, quoting code FMWC2016.
Airways Transit is located on the GROUND TRANSPORTATION LEVEL of Pearson - on the arrivals level, turn right after exiting the security doors and proceed to POST E in Terminal 1. Follow the sign directions down the escalator to the Ground Transportation Level and the Airways Transit desk will be on your left at the bottom of the escalator.
To and From Toronto's Billy Bishop Airport - Take the complimentary shuttle outside of the airport to Toronto Union Station. From the station take the GO Transit** system of either train (Lakeshore West Line to and from Hamilton) or bus (Hamilton QEW). Both go to the Hamilton downtown station, which is a ½ kilometre from the hotel. View Go Transit's train and bus route.
By Rail
ViaRail and GO Transit offer routes to Hamilton (downtown – ½ kilometer from hotel) or to nearby Aldershot (10 km from Hamilton) or Burlington. For some trips, a combination of Via and GO Transit will be used. This will be reflected on the travel options that arise after selecting your departure/arrival location and the dates of travel on the VIA website.
** Please note that the GO Transit system does not offer service from its downtown Hamilton location to Toronto on Sundays. Travellers must depart from either the Aldershot or Burlington stations.

INSURANCE
The event organizers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, or for loss or damage of property belonging to the congress participants (or their accompanying persons), either during, or as a result of the congress. Delegates and their accompanying guests are strongly advised to purchase adequate travel insurance for the duration of their travel.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Registration fees, less a $100 administrative charge will be refunded for cancellations received in writing before August 5, 2016. No refund will be offered for cancellations received after that time — no exceptions. Participants who request a cancellation may opt to send a substitute.
