This year’s theme is Women Physicians: Making a World of Difference… providing each delegate with the latest information on women’s health and well-being so they can go forward and make positive change for themselves, those close to home, and the world around them. 2018 promises to be a year of celebration, as the FMWC celebrates its 94th year of commitment to being the voice of women doctors in Canada. We hope that you will be a part of our festivities.
As physicians, we are leaders and partners in the journey of health care. We work in our patients’ best interests to make things happen and advocate for change. Women innately bring many of the traits needed for leadership today, and this conference is designed to nurture leadership skills and talent to allow women physicians to optimize their potential and lead initiatives aimed at improving patient care. This annual event is where our organization offers medical students, residents and physician members at all stages in their careers the opportunity to enhance their clinical expertise, develop their leadership skills, network and celebrate the accomplishments of women physicians.
