“A Better Future” – FMWC 2021 Virtual AGM and Educational Sessions
The Federation of Medical Women of Canada’s Annual General Meeting and Educational Assembly is the annual event where we welcome physicians at all stages of their careers, as well as medical students and residents, and provide opportunities to enhance their clinical expertise with practical tools, to grow their networks, and to celebrate physician leadership.
The theme of this year’s virtual conference is a Better Future and the educational sessions will provide the latest information on women’s health and well-being so participants can create a better future of health. Participants will be provided with knowledge and skills to make positive change, both within themselves and for their patients. This year’s conference will explore issues on social justice, equity, diversity and inclusion, women’s cardiovascular and reproductive health, and will feature engaging talks from daring and inspirational leaders.
The Federation of Medical Women of Canada (FMWC) recognizes that we must understand where we have come from and move forward in advocacy and leadership, learning from past experiences and present issues. As we celebrate our 97th year, our goal is to empower each delegate to understand the unique role and influence women physicians have in healthcare, to collaborate and to inspire, to find partnerships, and to build a better future for all.
Please join us online from October 1 to 2, 2021.
