Adelaide Burrows is a second-year medical student at Queen’s University. After being introduced to the FMWC last year, Addie joined the HPV Prevention Week Committee where she was involved in planning an event on HPV awareness and advocacy for medical learners across the country. She is very excited to become more involved with the FMWC this year as one of the National Student Representatives. Addie is actively involved in her school and community as a Senior Executive on Medical Students for Choice, as well as the medical student representative on Kingston’s Pap Party/Pap Campaign clinic planning committee. She also serves as a volunteer at the Sexual Assault Centre Kingston. Addie is very passionate about women’s health advocacy, and she is looking forward to working with the FMWC to improve the conversation surrounding women’s health issues amongst medical learners.
