Dr. Dalia Karol is a Resident Physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Toronto.
This is Dalia’s 5th year on the board, and she is excited for her new role as Honorary Co-Secretary! Her previous involvement with the FMWC includes being the resident representative to the board, the medical student representative to the board, vice chair of the communications committee, a facilitator and panelist at the annual general meeting, and being a member of the women’s cardiovascular and cerebrovascular health committee, and pap smear committee. Dalia is also a past winner of the FMWC Medical Student Leadership Award and the FMWC Enid Johnson MacLeod award
Dalia’s research interests lie in using medical education interventions to improve women’s healthcare. Dalia has been dancing for 20 years, and continues to take dance classes.
Dalia is looking forward to another year on the board, in which she is excited to be learning from her role models, mentors and friends!
