Nominations are open for the Women Empowerment Awards

Did you know that there are 19,119,977 women and girls in Canada, representing about 50% of the total population, and of those 1,079,000 are self-employed women in Canada in 2018, accounting for 37% of all self-employed persons?

The Women Empowerment Awards has been created to recognize and celebrate the diverse achievements of women in Canadian business, leadership, community service, and lifetime achievement.  It is designed to empower women as key change makers in our community and help support female entrepreneurs with their business and to help them advance in their careers.

Check out their awards. If you think one of your fellow members is deserving of nomination, nominate them today at woea.ca/awards.
