National Day of Action on Planetary Health

Planetary health is defined as the health of human civilizations and the natural systems on which they depend. It recognizes the interconnectedness of human health and the health of the planet, and that our wellbeing is fundamentally dependent on the wellbeing of the Earth.  Our health and healthcare system are being threatened by the triple planetary crisis of climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution. We need all hands on deck now to protect communities across Canada and ensure they can access the care they need.
